The Center for Public Integrity just released a scathing database study listing all the times a Bush administration officials made false statements about the threat from Iraq, WMDs and AlQaeda connections, leading up to the Bush-bred invasion. There are 935 entries immediately available for the public to search and scrutinize. The CPI chairman Charles Lewis said the project took nearly a year to complete, and was systematic in its construction.

He stated "We took a two-year period, from September 11th forward, and tracked eight officials, including two White House press secretaries, Paul Wolfowitz, Donald Rumsfeld, Condoleezza Rice, Colin Powell, the pResident and the Vice President, looking at all their statements, and interlaced with various fine journalistic accounts, like Bob Drogin’s and others. We looked at government reports, Senate Intelligence Committee reports, the Duelfer Report—you name it, we have all those reports in there. We have whistleblower accounts, the most credible ones, Richard Clarke, of course, and many others. And we wove that into the chronology, so you know what they’re saying at the time, and you know what they are actually discussing privately, hearing and thinking behind the scenes. And it’s very useful, because then you get to put it all in context. "

This database is likely become the "deep throat" of the Bush Administration...
only ironically it comes from the crooks themselves this time.

Already news agencies and governmental offices and the international community are connecting the dots- when things were said and how they became embroidered into consensus. Its going to become quite clear exactly who manufactured the charge for war and how they duped Congress, the Press, our allies and citizens into believing their lies.

As Lewis said "the public has never really seen all this woven together. Most people don’t connect the dots. We felt it was useful for the public to know. "

Dozens of White House coverups and scandals continue to unfold. Last week officials admitted deleting more than 5 million emails and deliberately erasing backup and archive tapes. Karl Rove and his second laptop which he used while acting as King George's "Merlin", magically lost all its eMails too when commanded by court and congress to testify. Yes even ex-Press Secretary Scott McClellon's book comes out stating Cheney told him to lie about the WMD intelligence. Overseas, the UK press is clamoring about a document it wants declassified that too shows the evidence of WMDs was contrived and in that case, the author was found dead days after news was disclosed.

While it seems all the rats are abandoning ship, there's still one "fluffing" Bush, his pinup girl, press secretary Dana Perino, who's been giving blondes a bad name with her "blond-ness" shining through in her press conference as she tries to do damage control only to be "punked" by CPI Chief Charlie Lewis- boooyaah!!!

look at this video!

The right-wing chickenhawk pundits, liars and GOP Congressmen might be fluffing their feathers today...
but lets see who's flapping in a couple weeks!

Colby; Basher has already dismissed this study because it was funded by Soros. (Check out the Political blogs).

How about doing one of these on our esteemed Governor, or is it your contention that flaming Liberals can do no wrong?

And Basher is correct.

with what, his need to bring up superfluous points with little bearing on the issue? I'll give you that.

the database stands on its own merits... see for yourself.

don't matter who pays what...if its accurate and true does it matter? Or do you like the lies you've paid to hear from Bush and all his contractor friends who are getting rich on your taxes.

BTW Exxon AGAIN reported the greatest profit ever made by any corporation on earth... $71,000 per minute.

When Bush leaves office and another administration takes over, it's going to be interesting. We haven't caught this jerk in all his lies yet.

Are you really calling this woman a "fluffer"?

Newsflash....all politicians on BOTH sides are a bunch of liars. Were you as outraged Colby when slick Willie Clinton was using OUR WHITE HOUSE as a whorehouse and then LIED about it on national TV? That man disgraced our entire country.
Why do you hate the US so much Colby? Can you talk about your history a little?

Good point fedupwiththecjsystem.

Lying about a BJ is absolutely just as disgraceful as lying a nation into war.

Nice to see some folks still have their priorities straight.

Again with the Clinton comparisons. Yes a lie is a lie, and the next time you tell a child about Santa Claus or the easter bunny, you should be taken to jail.

Get a clue here folks... I have never defended clintons action nor do I endorse infidelity. that said.

ANYONE who tries to compare the international disgrace of a head of State having an affair to a president that became an emperor, attacked two sovereign nations without provocation, destroyed his nation's economy, embittered most every other nation on earth with his imperial arrogance whether in demanding missile bases be built on foreign soils, demanding our subsidized goods and services be freely be dumped on nations without ability to compete, and allowing our nation's debt be financed by oil rich kingdoms and the far east... simply has not been paying attention.

geez look at JFK or the last six french presidents or any number of lesser nations who's leaders have had questionable relationships... yes its bad.... but get a friggin perspective.

and what on earth does my history have to do with the facts I'm posting here??? What? you got a problem with the bush administration passing false information 935 times in the leadup to the Iraq war... now that four years later we all know none of the four justifications they gave are true... but they have succeeded in keeping us there??

ya'll got that flag so tightly wound round yerselves protectin ya frum fear that its cut the circulation to yer brains... loosen up and try using that head or yers as somethin other that a suction cup for propaganda!

You lefties like to place blame alot. My point was that they all lie, even about a BJ. I do have my priorities straight Phyllis, and if Slick Willie Clinton would have done the same, instead of shoving cigars and staining dresses, we would have had competent intelligence and military information that may have prevented some of those that you so strongly support, from flyin "friggin'" planes into our buildings. The lefties allowed our intelligence and military agencies to become so weak it was sickening. That's where the blame lies.
Don't know why you guys hate this country so much.....you never seem to want to explain.

How is it that we who spend so much time speaking truth to power- trying to bring about change because we care... are always accused of hating our nation by a bunch of folk who are so patriotic that they can't see past their red white and blue gags and shackles?

I know you care about your country, I don't get your pompous bully attitude that if anyone questions authority, they must be traitors... do you remember how this nation was formed? By questioning british authority.

I understand and respect the soldiers need for order, but why can't they understand and respect the role of citizens to hold the leaders accountable?.... why don't they understand we're on the same team, just with different roles and responsibilities?

OK Colby, we disagree on the war. Putting that aside, I think we DO agree that we need change. Do you really think however, that Hillary or Obama are capable of leading this nation into that change? Hillary is just evil, plain and simple. She is only looking out for herself. Obama might be a nice guy, but he is far too inexperienced to lead a country of this size.

I agree Hillary will be horrible for our nation but I imagine, for very different reasons than you think. I feel she has clearly demonstrated in words deeds and actions that she is a lapdog to the same power elite that has helped this administration achieve its twisted goals.

Obama I'm not a certain, but I have my doubts. We need a president who can stand up to the power-brokers of the planet, who use the powers of the corporate citizen to rise above the laws of any government and leave their true stake holders to remain mostly anonymous.

I'm guessing this is not why you think they are bad... but I wonder if you agree-at least in part, that we must reign in the omnipotent powers of multinational corporations and their mighty lobbyists to then retake our government for the 'true' citizens- meaning human beings... as was clearly stated in the Constitution and Declaration or Independence.

and that won't be anyone running under the GOP ticket except maybe Ron Paul.

I believe Obama will be equally horrible for the country. He has proven that he does not have the experience of the foresight to lead the nation. At least Hillary knows what she is getting into, and as the first woman president she had better do one H of a job or she will never live it down.

Again, I cannot fathom why an intelligent young man such as Obama would marry the donkey he has for a wife. I would NOt want to see HER in the White House, and I believe that with her lack of social grace she will be Obama's downfall and this country's downfall.

OMG I can't believe you are saying this...

lack of leadership is a problem??? Look what the greatest leadership experience in history has done... we're fukced. Hillary is a closet puppet - just like Bush.. She will cater to the media, to big business and to Isreal... she has already sucked up to the Pentagon... we will become a third world nation paying for war in the middle east...

It is insane to state that diplomacy is not an option... what kind of world do you see yourself living in? a concentration camp? Police States are made by forcing compliance... what besides force - does no diplomacy or dialog bring to any conflict?

Well the presidential erection cycle has gone into the final stretch. In some of the most violent conventions since 1968, the people have again seen their rights trampled under the boots and battions of a brutal police force. Meanwhile inside, thousands of hysterical fans screamed like it was the Beatles as their choices for office took the stages. Have both parties sold out to Big Media and Multinationals? Does anyone in the US care? Lets hope people are doing more than watching TV to form their opinion. The stakes are becoming incredibly high in this rapidly globalized world... where decisions made now effect the entire planet and all its inhabitants... Are you choosing experience or what TV tells you is experience? Poncias Pilate was a Governor and Jesus, a community organizer. Beware the false prophets.
