It's the 1st day of Early Voting in Texas &  I was at my polling place just before Noon.  Luv the convienence of EV. There was a looooong line but it moved. The Election Judge told me that by Noon 500 people had voted...big crowds... and by the end of the 1st day she estimated that with the high turn-out 1,500 voters would have cast ballots at that polling place.  There's already been a heavy turn-out across Dallas & Tarrant Counties today.   33 states are voting early for this Presidential, state & local election. Voting ...what a wonderful right and responsibility of citizenship!

I want to ask you who you voted for Clarice because I admire you and respect you so much, but I won't.

I early voted today too, on my lunch. The line wasn't too long, but I was pleasently surprised at the turnout. It is great to see so many people exercising their right to vote. After all the fighting, name calling, and negative campaigning this election has brought out both the best and worst of some of us, and it is by far the biggest election I have ever been a part of.

Let's hope no matter who wins in November we as Americans will support them on the hard road they have ahead of them.

I simply HAVE to ask this....

Did you see any corpses in line waiting to vote while you were there?

I went to vote, and too long of line. Will try again another day. I didn't see Mickey Mouse there.

I tried to vote today too! Way too long of a line to get it done in my measly 30-minute lunch....

Agreed..."What a wonderful right and responsibility of citizenship". I have a problem with ACORN attempting to ruin this right and OBAMA's support of ACORN. Certainly as close as you are too the news you have a opinion concerning this voting process.

I'm in Ellis county and the lines were long from the time the polls opened until they closed. The lines did move quickly.

I cast my ballot in an attempt to stop socialism and Marxism from entering this country's highest office. I love my country too much to have voted any other way.

My husband and I are going together on the way to work tomorrow. All he had to know was that Obama pushed for legislation to outlaw many types of ammunition used for deer rifles and his mind was made up.

Thank you ProudAmerican. Ditto....................................... TexanInfidel... I think Obama will want your deer rifles, so the ammo won't make much difference.

I didn't until I heard 3 people mumble "Allah Akbar" in the voting line. That freaked me out some.
