I did a story on all the terrible potholes around here last week.  And it got me thinking.  Do we have some of the bumpiest roads in the country?  Believe it or not, NO!  I did some research and according to the Road Information Project, Milwaukee isn't even in the top 10.  San Jose and Los Angeles, California tied for first place.  The city closest to us in the top 10--Detroit.

Illinois. More potholes than I can count.

My co-worker just bought a new car and last night he was a good two hours late for work because he hit one of Milwaukee's infamous potholes and got a flat tire on the way to work.

I have noticed this winter that the potholes, even when driving at a slow speed, will really rattle your bones.

Bet the folks that did that study don't drive Silver Spring Rd in Milwaukee. I drive it about every other day. Almost lose my fillings. That road is in terrible shape with pot holes year round. Wish someone could tell me why.

Pot holes are just about everywhere this time of year.

The alignment businesses love it.

Enjoy the day and look out for the bumps in the raod(s)!
