New Scam Targets Military Spouses The American Red Cross is warning military spouses about a new identity-theft scam that involves a person telephoning a military spouse, identifying herself as a representative of the Red Cross, and telling the spouse that her husband was hurt in Iraq, was medically evacuated to Germany, and that they need the spouse to verify her husband's Social Security number and date of birth to start the paperwork. Military family members are urged not to give out any personal information over the phone if contacted by unknown individuals, including confirmation that their spouse is deployed. Any military family member who receives such a call is urged to report it to the local family readiness group or military personnel flight.

To find more resources for military spouses, visit http://www.military.com/spouse  Please pass this to anybody you know with a service member in Iraq. There as some really sick people pulling this scam and I hope they get cought soon.          "GO NAVY!"

People can really find low stoops to take advantage of others! I hope they get caught and the book thrown at them for the jail time and MIKEY that is waiting for a new ride'em boy or Susie that is waiting for her new punch bag!

Damn scumbags. In my opinion, the worst kind of criminals are the ones who either feign that they need help, or give the victim the impression that someone they care about needs help. I hate these guys even more than I hate terrorists, and I hate terrorists a LOT. I think a body full of paper cuts and a nice dunk in a tank of salt water would be suitable punishment. For starters.
