I wish Gateway could get an event like that but there isn't enough parking or seating to accomodate Nextel Cup. There doesn't seem to be any room to expand any of that. With Kansas City already having a track and Nascar wanting to expand in Washington State and New York State I would say our chances of it ever happening are slim to none. Plus, the fans here need to fill the seats at the Busch Series race when it is here. As for big name racers, there are a few that do come for the Busch Series race because it is an off weekend for Nextel Cup. I'm just greatful we get what we do considering there is already two races in near by states that the Busch Series goes to Nashville and Memphis. Lets just be greatful for what the mighty ones at NASCAR give us because look at Rockingham and tracks like that, they have nothing. Usually the truck race is better than the Busch race for excitement & great racing. Gateway Truck series race a few years ago was one of the top ten truck races of that year according to speed channel. We get two great races already lets support those.

My aunt's boyfriend races at i think tri-city raceway but i have yet to see a race there.
