my THREE year old great dane is so large that his little back legs keep falling out from under him, its worsening daily, i took him to a vet yesterday and basically they are reccomending youthenizing him as when he falls he cant get back up and no one can help him as he weighs more than 200 pounds, he is not over weight at all.  the doctor said he is abnormally large for the breed and his back legs, hips, and hocks are not sufficient to support his body.  although i understand and dont want him to suffer at all id like to know if there is anything anyone can do or think of to help me.  cant we somehow build a device that will act kind of like a wheel chair?, maybe some kind of a lift or sling that will take pressure off from his hips and let the wheels carry the weight? ive seen on tv before smaller dogs that cant walk and use a device for them to walk. does anyone know anyone capable of building one of these for me?  my dog isnt sick... he is just having a hard time getting around.  he has been my only companion for the past three years, hes been the only significant other in my world , i dont want to lose him just because his back legs dont work. i want to know that i did and tried anything humanly possible to save him, the vets feel i should schedule his youthenizing so the crematory services can pick him up on a schedule as the vets office have nowhere to store his body after he passes, they said they would literally need a large freezer and they cant accomodate his needs, also they said the animal crematory place may not even be equipped for such a large dog.  please if anyone has an idea would you please let me know?  his name is cupid and he is so sweet. i d like to keep my baby... he just needs help walking.  thanks to all who took the time to read this post and especially to anyone who can help come up with a solution.  all is appreciated. 

this is probably silly to you gys but my dog has entered in fox pets for months now, he has never ever been one of the nominees, he is heart broken as i am as well.  he is a september pet, hes number 23... please go and look at him and maybe try to vote him in for a nominee, it would mean so much to us. we dont understand why he hasnt been chosen, he is surely the cutest and deserves to be a winner.  ive always told him that he should be in movies..lol.. for real though, oprah had a show with the " biggest great dane" well it weighed 176 pounds, my boy cupid at the time was 193 pounds, i could possibly have the largest dane around.. he could be famous and he needs his lucky break... lets get some attention on him, hes been extremely ill since birth and ive been told he wont live a full life, a great dane life span is 6-8 years, hes all ready 4 so i kinda dont have alot of time to make him a star.  he takes alot of meds and always has, he falls almost daily due to his hip problem and his weiht, he is extra tall too so hes not over weight, the vets said hes bigger than a shetland pony and that hes the biggest patient theyve ever had.  come on guys, i know you are animal lovers, tell fox to display my boy on tv, just once.. thank you  for reading my off the wall blog .  i appreciate any help from all of you guys.  ps.  ive even entered him in " the weather baby"  lol... he is my baby...

ive noticed that the same blogs have been on the front page for days now and noone is even commenting on the topics anymore, ive also noticed that a couple of very well known bloggers are leaving and are upset with fox.  did i miss something that has gotten people upset? im not sure what happened but its sad to hear as i really enjoy blogging with these folks and appreciate their imput. does anyone know whats going on? thanks and i hope everyone is all right.

my son came home from working a graveyard shift last night at a restaurant, to my surprise he said to me when he got home.. " mom, i was the only employee in the building for my entire shift. i couldnt believe it.  i know for a fact it is against policies to be left alone for security purposes, someone could have came in with a gun and robbed him, he could have slipped and fell, gotten hot oil on him, or even accidentally locked in the freezer. the only reason this happened is because a server that was supposed to work didnt show up and the manager of the store wasnt willing to come in and told my son that she knows its against policy but would he stay and work alone? this would entail him to greet people, take orders, bring drinks and sides, cook the order, deliver the order, check on the people to make sure all is good, cash the people out, clear tables , and do the dishes along with any other issue that would have arrised, including sidework. my sons life was put in jeopardy and i thank god that he had a safe night. would do you guys think? should this be happening?  what would you do?  thanks guys....

i was actually tricked by the police and courts.  deltona was looking for a bank robber- a repeat criminal that has spent most his life in prison. he is in his mid 40's.  a local bank was robbed and a picture of him was on video and in the news paper. in the paper was a list of two numbers to call if you have imformation on the case, there was a 1,000.00 reward to anyone helping with leading to the arrest, to make a long story short one number was direct to the sherrifs office and the other number was to crime stoppers tips.. well, we used the sherrifs number and for that you will get NO reward even though they have arrested the man and is in jail as we speak waiting for his court day.  i have a supbeona to go and testify, that doesnt leave me anonymous, every one will see me and think i ratted this guy out.  i dont know what to do as this man will see me in the court room.  i actually dont even care about the reward, its the principal that the police said i would remain anonymous... i work in a very public place where alot of people know me really well.  as far as the reward money, even the police are scammers. it doesnt say anywhere in the article to call a certain number for the reward, it just says to call.... what would you do?

hi tom, i have written and spoke with you in the past and you couldnt help me but i was wondering if maybe there is a way now that you could. 

in january i was issued a check from aaron pest control because they refunded all of the fees i had paid them due to bad service and ultimately caused a flood in my home, over 22,000.00 in damages.  on the back of the check where you sign your name they have written "endorsement indicates all monies owed" i have not cashed the check nor signed it as i am not willing to agree that it means all monies owed.  i have emailed them asking them to re issue me a check without that term on the back and get no response at all.  i want to cash the check as it is my money but cant, what do you suggest that i do?  anyone else have any ideas?  isnt there a statement i can write where i endorse it that will make it possible for me to cash this check without agreeing to the terms they have written on the back of it?  i am still at a financial loss and want reembursement back from this company for my out of pocket losses. if i sign the check im out my losses. i need the money from the check though, ive been carrying it around for 6 months now.  please if anyone knows what to do it would be greatly appreciated, thanks guys.

wanted totell everyone on here happy mothers day, try to have a nice day off and be sure to tell your moms how much you love them. i woke up to a beauttiful yellow rose in an awesome tall vase from my son on my nightstsand. ... aahhh...its beautiful.  i do have to go to work today and i hope im one of the very few that do as i think every mom in america deserves the day off and should be spoiled by their families today...well guys, off i go to get tready for my work day, just wanted to say happy mothers day to all of you.
