My hope is that the death of this valiant Officer brings about a new burden of responsibility.  If I want to own a WMD in Philadelphia many legal and societal roadblocks are put in front of me.  With over 500 deaths yearly and the risk to our only protectors the Philadelphia Police, why is the ability to own and use a gun easier then the protections to own and use a WMD? The NRA and hunters should not be against the restrictions on hand guns and assault weapons in Philadelphia.  If you want to own or use hand guns or assault weapons you should have a much higher responsibility level.
