I saw the news report today 2/27/08 on FoxLA and they Mr Edwards was talking about the ability of tracking who is looking for your by searching Google. He said that the websites Ziggs.com and naymz.com allow people to see who is searching them using Google.  I don't think this is what this site is all about. Nor can it do that.  There is no way to know exactly who searched for anybody, unless they register on this site and use this site to search. It does not track what is done on the generic Google site.  This seems like a very bad news report and was disinformation at its worst, in order to get people's attention.  They are preying on the fact that people would love to know who is actually Googling them, but that is a privacy issue and that capacity does not exist. Of course if you register in the Ziggs site with your personal info, the person that you look up from their site will then have your information.   Maybe FoxLA should screen their stories a bit better.

While there are a few good bike paths in the Los Angeles area, most of the roads are very bike unfriendly and frankly dangerous to ride bikes on. I'm frustrated with how little support there appears to be for more bike paths and bike lanes.  I know that there are many people that would ride a bike to work if it was safer. I'm always amazed when the LA Bike Marathon rolls around every year and some 15,000+ riders get out on the streets at 6am to ride.  It tells me that there are tons of people that would be out there riding if they could do so safely.    I would love to figure out a way to get more people together to help make this happen. With gas prices so high, there is probably no better time than the present to gain support for the cause.

I'm an avid cyclist and Los Angeles resident interested in working on making the streets friendlier for cyclists. I'm into reducing the traffic and the associated pollution from toxic car emissions along with our dependence upon foreign oil. I also would like to see a much better public transit system that people could use to get around. The current Metro system leaves a lot to be desired.
