Using a working class blue collar folk mentality and acting the "simple kind of man" rhetoric won't save you when the feet of the poor and the steps of the needy begin to trample underfoot the pride and pomp of the drunken crown.

I'm not saying that I blame the officers but if you think about it, it wasn't right what they did.I would not want to be a cop today! I totally understand how the city and the people in it are upset but there was someone on these blogs who has made me see both sides of what is going on in our world today. No, I'm not happy that people can just rob and kill someone, do I understand why the cops pulled these men out of a car and beat them? Yes...but this is why things will never get better for all of us. Its human nature to be angry,its human nature to want to react but if I'm going to be honest with myself,its not right.

THAT'S IT!!!! since the blacks only qualify for jobs at MCDONALDS or in the Sanitation department I'M demanding one lose thier job everytime my trash isn't collected or i drive away from the take-out window at mcdonalds with the wrong stuff. These both happen very often so i'm going to be the white version of al sharpton for your trash collection and fast food ordering.

shiss15, you are totally ignorant. I am an African American woman and from your ignorance, I know you must work at Wendys or KFC. Whites work in those stores too or did you know that. And btw, guess what, the trashmen that pick up our trash in Philly are white. So get your facts straight.
And their are ignorant people of all races. John Hagee, Pat Buchanon just to name a few. Look, it's time to take off your hoods and sheets. Those sheets and hoods aren't working anymore. Yes, I am an African American. I have intelligence, I have a decent job, I have educated children with decent jobs. I live in a decent neighborhood and I shop at decent stores. The only difference is the color of my skin. BTW statueman, this comment does not apply to you, just to those ignorant, narrowminded a##es.....
