I had wrote an earlier blog about OJ and it was rather harsh and judgemental so I deleted it to write this one.

BUT...............

I really, really dislike OJ greatly. I really want him to suffer loss... like his freedom, as he took Nicole's and Ron's freedom to live and he knows he did. ( I will never forget that smug face of his, when the verdict was read at the murder trial, I just wanted to slap it off.)

I am pleased that a jury has found him guilty of this crime.

I hope there were NO mistakes made during the trial so justice can be done finally.

I hope the judge when OJ is sentenced will include the words ".... and may God have mercy on your soul."

I hope that Nicole Brown's family will take custody of her children.

The mere subject of OJ just rubs me the wrong way. Sorry but I just can't help it.

Well I have a few questions, if the Tarrant County Appraisal District said the land was hers DID they also make her pay "property tax" on that extra piece of land? If yes, then doesn't the TCAD owe the lady a refund or at least credit since now the property is NOT in fact hers?

Plus couldn't the lady file a lien on the property for the up keep she has done to it?

The Dallas Diamonds have a 8 wins and ZERO losses this season making them the Mid South Division Champions of the IWFL (Independent Women's Football League). The California Quake are also 8-0 for the season and won their division also.

Well started out Hubby and I,  Saturday night we went to see the Dallas Diamonds play the Iowa Crush of the IWFL. The game was called at half time with the score at 55 (Dallas)- 0.  Iowa only had 18 players and 4 of those ladies were hurt in the first half.

So we decided that it was still early that we would catch a movie. We saw Ironman it was pretty good. (Oh we got our stimulus money woohooo) 

So Sunday morning hubby wakes me up with "Hey goodmorning beautiful lets go to the races today." So we get dressed and off to the horse races we go. We always get a "counter seat" on the inside, upstairs. 8 bucks a person and you get a TV. So I got to see not only the races up close on TV but I saw "Jesus" win the  head to head poker tourney. The Astros beat the Rangers,  Parts of a college baseball game, the other hockey game and parts of the basketball game, and other races at other parks in the USA.

 Ok  First two races we lost, third one we won 24 dollars and 80 cents. We bet the exacta box on 3 horses for 12 bucks. Ok 4 th race only 6 horses in the race. I say "Hey lets box the 6 horses on a 10 cent trifecta bet. SINCE  the 10 cent bets were yielding about 60 - 80 bucks."  (WRONG, WRONG WRONG  DO NOT EVER MAKE A BET LIKE THIS)  ok 360 bets @ 10 cent  a bet = 36 bucks . WE WON A WOPPING $5 dollars and 80 cents on that bet. I was like OH MY GAWDDDDDDD NO.  TEEHEEEEEE BIG LESSON LEARNED.  WE ended up after all 9 races only 60 bucks down with betting and food/drinks and everything else.

That was my sports weekend,

The young man that is in the ICU for the basketball accident at his school.

I think that the EMT's should have been called immediately after the accident to check out both children and both parents should have been called immediately too. It's called CYA (Cover your ass-ets) that is in basic medical training 101 plus its just common sense.

OK I know I can hear it now.  They can't do that,  then they would have to call on all accidents. That would be using up EMT's  time everywhere.  So be it then. Better safe than sorry as in with this young man.

I think somebody in that school needs to be charged criminally with "medical neglect". And the parents of this young man need to sue to recoup any and ALL costs to this situation.

Now with this young man there was no report as to if  he has brain damage or is brain dead.  Only that he is on a vent and feeding tube. (Which I would suspect by that report that his brain has been compromised in some way.)

So here is were I know the flames are going to begin.

"IF" and thats a BIG "IF" this young man's brain has been compromised and he has no future for at least a half way productive life,  as much as I know these parents love their child why have they prolonged his passing into glory ?

Look before you flame away , I don't know about "letting a child pass into glory" IF I had to do it, I know it would almost kill me in my heart  but with that being said I would do it because it is the "right" thing to do. I do know about having to make that decision, it was on my 2nd husband when the doctors declared him brain dead. That decision almost killed me in my heart at that time.

Just my other 5 cents.

The 15 yo that just gave birth to her baby and CPS has taking her baby away. The report said she has already had a child previously.

I agree that CPS needed to take these underage children away from their adult rapists and abusers  but to take her baby away is wrong.  Unless this young Mom is being investigated for any abuse to her older child (which hasn't been reported) CPS is wrong to take her newborn away. This is like telling her that being raped and getting pregnant was ALL her fault and there fore you can't be a Mom.

So does CPS plan on taking the newborns away from every 15 yo that gets pregnant in the state of Texas??

CPS give this young Mom her baby back and get her the help to raise her children in this horrific situation.

OK before ya'll start flaming away NOTE THIS I do not in no way condone young teens having sex and creating babies. With that said, It is a fact though that some young teens DO in fact have sex and create babies and that is where "knowledge is power" comes into play.
