I was talking to a friend and she was saying the financial crisis is not affecting her personally. She still has a job. Her lifestyle has not changed and she doesn't feel the pinch.  What about you?  As you approach the holidays, will the economic downturn affect the amount you spend?

Today, we had a story about two incidents on the county bus Monday. One, the driver asked a young man to turn his music down. That "young man" punches the driver and breaks his nose on the way off the bus.  The other a woman asked some people the direction of the bus route before the bus arrives. One the bus, a teenager taunts the woman and smacks her while his mom watched!

There are many bus routes in the city and I know most are peaceful but, these just leave me scratching my head.  Why?  

I was out and about during Sunday's Brewers' game.  But, I caught the end of the game on the radio.  While I was in a store.. missing it, I ran into a man who told me he wasn't tuned in because he just couldn't stand the suspense... and didn't want to see it, just in case the Brewers lost.

He might regret that decision now.
