DNR employee caught dumping waste into storm sewer

In a Badgerblogger exclusive, a Department of Natural Resources employee was caught dumping the contents of a floor cleaner used to clean goose feces from around Discovery World, into a storm drain just yards from Lake Michigan. They had a permit to dump the waste into a sanitary sewer, but storm sewers do not go through the cleaning process, it is vented into the nearest body of water... Lake Michigan.

Clean goose droppings or rain washed droppings hmmm ,i'd go with clean droppings .I think the city needs to ban geese and seagulls in the city .Shoot to kill ,every one of them .Rats with wings !

crobsid52, yes, many times this amount of droppings and chemicals are dumped into the lake each day, but if a private business were caught doing this, the DNR and the media would be on them like, well, flies on goose poo. But since it is the DNR its self doing the dumping, no one seems to care. If you read the whole story on my main blog, you will see a picture I posted of kids swimming just yards from where this dumping was going on, and that storm sewer drains into the lake in that area.

FOX! Why not pick-up on this story and inform the public who may be contemplating a dip in the lake?
