I was born 17 years ago today, March 13th, 1991...3:17 P.M. to be exact.  I go to get my driver's license later this morning at 9 A.M.  Wish me luck !

David Aldrich's forecast for today:
March 13th, 2008 - High: 53°, Partly Cloudy

I think I remember that blizzard from 1993...I was only turning 2 years old, but I vaguely remember it.

It looks like a nice day is in store for today, but not as nice as the past 2 years.  I was spoiled with warmth the past 2 years, 79 degrees and 68 degrees, as you can see above.  Too bad I wasn't born in 1990...that's when the record high of 84 degrees took place.

Well, I'm off to enjoy my birthday, and hopefully get my driver's license.  Even though it's going to be a nice day today, I'll probably do more driving than bike riding...LOL.

Thanks, JT !

I e-mailed Booker from Q102 around 5 A.M. this morning and asked him to give me a birthday shout-out in the 6 A.M. hour of the show. Around 6:20 A.M. he gave me the shout-out, but he didn't realize it was me because I just signed it "Brian"...I should have signed it "Brian the Weather Kid"...LOL. Oh well.

happy birthday

When you look at it the numbers from top to bottom ;just show the battle of the seasons. The average for that period is about 4 degrees above normal

David's forecast was very close.

Today's official high in Philly: 52°

Conditions: Bright sun early, then mix of sun & clouds...at least in my opinion.

B-Don, have you ever thought of moving from this area??? You seem to enjoy the warm weather much more than the typical 4 season weather that we exeprience in this region. I lived in Miami for 15 years. Even though I enjoyed it for awhile, the extreme heat in the summer along with the hurricane threat every year made me think twice about staying there. The weather is very boring down there ( warm and thundershowers everyday....no sleet, snow, cold fronts, etc). It must be boring to be a weather person there. I was born and raised in Delaware so my family and I decided to move back to the Mid-Atlantic area and enjoy the change of seasons ( I could never get used to waking up X-mas morning and it being 80 degrees out and people swimming in their pools). I read you blogs and it seems you enjoy that climate so maybe that might be a place for you move when you graduate from high school....

Yep...you called it, Doug.

Fergy07, you're right...I would enjoy the weather in Miami for the majority of the year, but in the summer I wouldn't be able to handle the heat and humidity. Southern California is more of my kind of weather, but it's way too expensive to live out there, and the weather is the same everyday. When I become a meteorologist, I want to live somewhere where there is weather everyday.

Nope, ibejim, it was actually a Monday. LOL.

There is just no report for the day for some reason.

Copy / paste one line at a time.

Hello, my name is Brian, but all my friends call me B Don. I am 17 years old, and I am a senior at Sterling High School. I live in Stratford, NJ, which is in Camden County, about 20 minutes from Philly. I love weather, bike riding, and sports. I want to be a T.V. Meteorologist. I did the weather on The Booker Show on Philly's Q102 on Presidents' Day morning, Monday, February 18th, 2008, from 6 - 10 A.M.
