In case you missed David's very good info on Good Day around 8:05 AM this morning, here it is once again. Thanks David for the great info!

Today's Forecast: 98°

Record High for August 8th: 100° in 2001

Last 100° Day: August 9, 2001


Some places could hit 100 degrees today! But don't be fooled by today's forecast of 98 degrees...by this I mean that it will feel MUCH hotter with the humidity, with a heat index between 105 and 110 degrees!


Last year, we hit 98 degrees 5 times, but we did not hit 100!

One side note:

In 2006, we hit 98 degrees on July 17th and 18th. And then, again August 1st to the 3rd.

Total: 5 days. But not all in row.

Thanks for clearing that up. I thought you said 5 "straight" days, but I guess not.
