Yep...and, Y3...doesn't it seem strange that the auto industry hasn't produced BETTER versions of non-gasoline guzzling vehicles for the open market by now? I'd be willing to bet that the research and development (R&D) programs within the industry has BIIIIIIGGG bucks legally dog-eared for R&D...a write off. Wonder where THAT money went? It sure isn't in "newly designed vehicles" running up and down the roads for the public to see and buy...we see only a DISMAL EFFORT....and NOW...you and I are backing loans to the AUTO INDUSTRY. WHERE IS OUR STOCK? WHO HAS OUR STOCK? You are correct. The sleeze balls will NEVER get it right. I just heard Ralph Nader say that there is going to be one hellllluva citizen tax revolt because we are sick of corruption in government. I say we need a citizen revolt against politicians...let's put them all out of office. I don't know how to do that, but I have zero respect these days. I do have respect for one Congressman, Frank Wolf...and he is now under fire by the buzzards. Frank Wolf is still one of the few left who does all that he can for his constituency. When people need help, he is always there asking how can he help...and that is a good man who earns not only his salary, but the people's respect. I'd love to spend a day with him...it would take that long....to ask him what the helllllll has happened to this country. Something(s) is/are VERY wrong.

Do you think we, the citizens of this USA, will receive a new car for our participation in bailing out the auto industry to the tune of TWENTY FIVE BILLION....BILLION....DOLLARS? I will be waiting for my stock in Ford, GM and Chrysler....I'm so excited that I just can't wait! Duuuuuh! Oh...man. This is unbelievable. I don't think my heart can take the revelations we will receive tomorrow when Shrub announces the FIX IS IN. Hmmmm. I'm betting every single one of those executives receives his severance pay....BIG time money. Five will get ya ten THAT is a big chunk of what WE are providing...But, hey....we have round heels...we are Americans. No big deal.

Amen, Y3. Did you see that the CEO of Washington Mutual has been on the job for 18 DAYS...his severence will be 13.65 MILLION DOLLARS. Nice, huh???? What does Congress think we are....IDIOTS??? Remember the exec who was irritated that he might not get his 150 MILLION DOLLAR severance???? I have a serious headache...and I don't give a hoot if we lose EVERYTHING we own....we need to stop the buzzards and be danged. I refuse to fall victim to the lies...and am not interested in putting the foxes BACK into the HEN HOUSE!
