STOP THE INVASION

Adam Garcia attempted to fly a Mexican flag at his high school last
March. Instead, he was arrested, jailed for a night, placed under house
arrest for a month and expelled from Apache Junction High School in a
highprofile incident that came amid protests and marches as the national
debate over immigration swept the nation.

Now, six months later, Garcia sits at home, not attending classes
anywhere. Meanwhile, he says, the white student who grabbed the Mexican
flag and burned it was allowed to stay in school.

“They’re racist,” Garcia said. “That other kid, he got out free with
nothing on him.”

Apache Junction Unified School District officials, citing a federal
privacy law, refused to say whether the other student was expelled.

But district spokeswoman Carol Shepherd indicated that previous
discipline problems can contribute to a decision to expel a student.
Garcia, now 17, acknowledges he previously received an on-campus
suspension. And his court files show one prior arrest for disorderly
conduct, which he said was the result of a fight between him and his father.

“The actions taken on all students were appropriate in the disciplinary
process,” Shepherd said.

Garcia’s mother, Emily Hernandez, disagrees.

“Adam was doing nothing wrong at all,” said Hernandez, an Apache
Junction nurse. “He just was raising the flag, there’s no crime in that.
I feel proud of my son.”

yes, these Mexican here now, are always so freak'n proud of Mexico. What a lie. If they were so proud of mexico, they'd be there, fighting to correct the multitude of problems and clean it up. I'm so sick of seeing Mexican flags, I could puke. Aren't there any laws in this county to protect it for a take over?

Did anyone explain to this poor misunderstood kid that he was on the wrong side of the border when he raised his countries flag?

Get this guys, back about 4 months ago, we had a new used car lot open up out here in White Settlement, the first time I drove by on my way to work of all things the stupid guy was flying not only a Texas flag, a Us flag but also had a Mexico flag flying in between the other two, I could not believe the audasity this guy had, but I did notice it only flew for a few weeks, I guess someone told him to take it down. There is no way in heck I would ever buy a car from this dude, not after what I saw.

We had one in Garland at teh corner of O'Banion and Centerville who did something like that -- had American flags on each corner of his lot and Mexican flags in between.

Gringos quit going there and he eventually had to close up shop

Used car lots seem to be the most proliferate flyers of the Mexican flags. In driving around some parts of Dallas you see so many Mexican flags you would think you had left the US; in Oak Cliff, up and down Buckner, 175, and all over East Dallas.

Nobody ever said used car salesmen had good sense or good taste. They have always been remarked for being sleazy snake oil salesmen. Some things never change.

But I am deeply offended by raising the Mexican flag at the post office and at public schools as has been done recently. Colorado had an incident a couple of years ago about having the Mexican flag displayed on the first day of school. They took it down after they got some threats of violence if it was not removed. Their excuse was that they just wanted their students to feel welcome, with never a thought to making American students feel welcome apparently. And I must admit, I am more than just a little offended when I see a Mexican flag flying over a private residence and being displayed on vehicles. If they are so proud of Mexico, that is where they should be living, and not in the US.

After the illegal alien riots this past May, there were reports from all over the country of residents waking up to find their American flag disappeared and replaced with a Mexican flag.

Yea America, your right about the sleaziness of used car dealers, I have never bought from one and I never will. I feel the same way about flying the Mexican flag, they all just need to go home and quit grubbing off of us.

I was watching Good Morning America (yeah, the other channel) this morning and there was a story about an illegal immigrant who was deported back to Mexico after being convicted of molesting a child.
He snuck BACK over here again, and this time, he was pulled over by a cop, frisked and placed in the back of the squad car in handcuffs.
Apparently the cop didn't frisk him well enough, because the cop was found slumped over the steering wheel with 4 gun shot wounds to the head. The illegal man was still in the back seat of the car.

It's like roaches, get rid of one, 50 more return. You deport these vile illegal people and they come right on back. I hope he gets the death penalty now...it happened in Houston.

Flying a Mexican flag on private property isn't a big problem, freedom of speech, BUT flying the flag over a public school, library, courthouse or other goverment building is a different thing all together.

I agree War. However, even if it is flown on private property, it should never be flown above the height of the American Flag.

You know, if I moved to France and I flew a large American flag on my doorstep, I am sure I would be verbally beat into the ground. Out of respect, I would fly the flag of the country I lived in on the pole outside, and have a small flag of my home country inside my home. Thus avoiding any hostility.

I lived for a number of years in Colorado. Texans are not terribly well liked in Colorado. That's not brag; it's just fact. The sentiments run so deep and are so widespread, I was afraid to display a Texas flag or any indication of my Texas heritage anywhere on the outside of my residence due to concern over vandalism and/or violence.

Yet foreign nationals seem to have no similar reservations about proudly displaying the flag of a foreign nation at their business, their home, and on their personal effects. They are so unconcerned about any backlash from the American public, they are now brazen enough to raise their flag at a United States Post office and on public schools grounds.

Free speech issues aside, the fact that foreign nationals have the comfort zone to do this is yet another indictment of the apathy that will consign the American nation to the dust bins of history.

Wisdom of the ages says a picture is worth a thousand words. Thus, the photograph selected for my avatar says everything that needs be said about massive immigration, and particularly illegal immigration, into the United States. This blog will be dedicated to announcing news items, events and battles being fought by Americans against illegal alien invasion around the country and with a special focus on DFW and Texas.
