Groundbreaking began today for the Orlando Events Center.  There has been much controversy about this.  What do you think?

Anyway, I think this, if done the way indicated IT WILL BE A HAPPY PLACE...lol..lets just hope like the new UCF arena..DON'T RUN OUT OF WATER.....AND MAKE LOTS OF POTTIES....OK..let them know one of your viewer SAID THAT.......WE WANT BIG ROOMY BATHROOMS......

Also, I want to know, I thought they were going to build A PERFORMANCE CENTER??? AT THAT BEAUTIFUL HISTORICAL CHURCH.........if not, I AM VERY HAPPY IF THEY DIDN'T SELL THAT BUILDING......for that reason???? LET US KNOW......Toddt......lol.........DUH.......

I hope it gets Orlando what Orlando wants, and thats the Olympics. I'd like to see that. I hate going to the current O-rena. Its small and cramp. I always said we needed something bigger. Now if we can get the Jags to leave Jax and come here, this city would start being known as Orlando and not Disneyworld.

I think people have just given up. Dyer/Crotty/Downtown power bloc can obviously spend all the taxpayers money any way they want- without a vote from the people. We are pwn3d.

The city is too worried about a new event center? Hey Orlando! Put the money to something more useful. Like lawenforsement. The city has a real high crime rate, or were you aware of that?

Hola everyone, I have been back in Florida for almost a year now, and it is great to be back and part of the FOX 35 News Team. I am amazed of how many people remember me from when I was a National/International Reporter for Telemundo Network... For nine years I was assigned to New York and Puerto Rico... But what is even more interesting is that I met a woman from South Africa and a gentlemen from Russia who knew who I was. They remembered me from the Network show I was on, then I remembered it was such a popular show (a spanish dateline) it was sold to other countries, 25 to be exact and translated to their corresponding languages.. Before FOX 35, I was the main News Anchor at Univision 23 / Dallas, Texas. It was a great experience being a part of a team that became the number one news station in that market... Well I hope to hear from you, share your thoughts and ideas... SALUDOS A TODOS =)... Alexis
