Today a Florida Judge threw out a case brought before the court that demanded the voters voice be heard.  Hats off to this Judge!  The CORRECT judgement was made!

That there is no fundemental right to vote in a PRIVATE party's election. (i.e. party primary) and that instead the voters should vote for people that will respect their wishes at this level.

YES!  Remembe that Republicans are standing behind their party and its rules and punishment for breaking them because Republicans understand the issue of accountability and accept it.

Democrats on the other hand who NEVER operate for a CORE position, are trying to wiggle out of their own obligation, and agreements.  That you would try to change the rulesbecause you don't like a candidate, means you never agreed to the DNC/Florida date change in the beginning on its own merrits to begin with!  Once again the arterial motive raises its ugly head, and Democrats not liking the outcome of something are running to the Judicial Branch seeking litigation from the bench!

Same old tricks, different day!

THE DEmocrats have the con going.. can you imagine what would happen if the GOP tried this. Most of the fraud in 2004, for example, was at democrat precints with ballot stuffing, machines not working, GOP vans to pick up voters with tires flattened, etc.

Democrats have a much more Corrupt history in the election process. As one observer who witnessed the mess in Ohio and Missouri in 2004 and 2000 said, " I thought I was in Soviet Russia with the Party bosses infusion of Fraud".

Between the corrupt democrats who dont count votes, try to mess with results, or the Voters themselves who have no clue how to vote, I am not sure why anyone would register as 'demo on crack."

Oh and I forgot the ACORN Union people in Jail for making up fake registration names in 2004. They said they too some Crack and sat there making up names and addresses so people can triple vote.... think it was Ohio or Chicago.

Naw.. I think Michigan will follow the lead of Florida's Courts on the issue that a primary is actually a "Private" party election. If this had been the general election they might try to rule differently. According to the ruling the general election vote comes under a "fundamental" right to vote.

Key term.... "fundamental" NOT unalienable... There simply is no "right" to vote.

All I know is that if Obama wins the presidency, I'm gonna dig a hole and bury my head.

The way I look at it, to be fair, no votes from Michigan should count since Obama was not on the Democratic ballot there, BUT, he was on the ballot in Florida and so the votes for Florida should be counted 100%. . DNC Party Rules are from Party Fools.

Other than that, I'm just gonna vote for Richard Nixon.

Well "Party Fools" or not, the entire issue stems from the folks that were elected here in Florida, so NOBODY is actually a victim of anything. I guess when it comes to voting for the State Legislature next time some voters need to vote for some fresh faces!

ANYONE that re-elects these folks can only blame themselves.

Well, the Florida votes should NOT be counted, since they knew thier votes would NOT be counted long before the vote!

You have to respect all the voters that did NOT vote, knowing thier votes would not count!

A vote for Nixon is just as good as a vote for Barr. Useless.

While it MAY be true that Obama was on the Ballot it is equally true that Edwards was NOT..It's ALSO true that "on the Ballot" or NOT the candidates were given EVERY reason to believe that it was a waste of their Money and efforts to Campaign here..As I understand it,,ONLY Clinton Campaigned here AFTER she signed on to an agreement NOT to..

And as DF pointed out,,with ONLY a little over a Million votes in the FIRST place,, And THOSE are the ones that IGNORED their OWN rules,, Counting Fla. votes would NOT be representative of the State's Democrat electorate..
In FACT,,by COUNTING these votes,,you ARE in Fact,, disinfranchizing the REST of the State..

A vote for McCain is just as useless! All you will do is bring a RINO to the WhiteHouse who will just be cannon fodder for the radical liberals, and Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid will rule this country and hang any negatives around McCain's neck! Nope... Give it to the liberal hacks, leave them no place to hide, and this time the left wing bias of the media is unable to hide it from the American people and talk radio to FOX NEWS, to more and more forums will be dragging them out of the darkness.

I feel your frustration Frank, but again, the Republican Party has FAILED the conservative base, and because the "core" is not based on party affiliation, the Republicans do NOT deserve anohter "free pass" out of some pseudo team spirit.

I'm voting for the conservative candidate, and If I have to write them in, then so be it. Not trying to sound defeatist, but Frank, the house is fully involved in this fire, and you are running up the street with a thimble full of water.... sorry, just control the fire, let it burn down, and rebuild a BETTER one!

Well Abunai, I disagree the Republican Party has failed the conservative base, as it was the VOTERS that picked McCain over the other candidates. You should say the Republican voters have failed the conservative base.

But that wouldn't make sense. If the conservative base wanted McCain, how could they have failed themselves?

I like your analogy of the fire.

If Obama gets in the house, he WILL burn it to the ground to the point it will not be able to be rebuilt.

I would argue that the "Voters" picked McCain... I'd argue that he won out of default of others. Raking Romney over the coals for being a Mormon while ignoring that Harry Reid has been in office since the 70s as one.. I submit that the media just cleared a path for McCain, because he is the party line jackrabbit, that has proven to be manipulated by liberals. From Feingold, Kennedy, the band of 14,and even Liberman.

Just as the media cleared a path for Obama to be in position to snatch Hillary's chances away, by catering to a younger generation that was lead by the nose. Had the media been objective and not kept the Wright case silent, or domestic terrorist even, he would not be here today.

Voters are just played like a fiddle anymore, and thanks to our education system, and liberal colleges, we are just pumping the politically ignorant out by the thousands!

So... now comes the "tuff love" and you young folk like McCain? You think Obamas words actually reflect his actions? OK... Come this time next year, when you are standing around wondering what happened... I will tap you on the shoulder with my "I told you so" Tshirt on and just laugh!!

Its like the Bay area that continues to beat down our military and armed forces, and then when they have a tragic event, the first thing these libs call on is the military! The country is again, ignoring facts, and simply too lazy to seek the truth on their own, and for that, they will truely pay in the next 4 years min.

Well, I will agree about the media. It is obvious candidates on both sides did not get equal coverage.
The media had already picked thier favorites, and made sure they got in. They had a tough time with Obama/Clinton though, probably why that circus is still on the road.
