I can't help but find Ted Perry's editorials arbritrary and pointless. What good is an editorial that does not address anything serious? Last nights (7/16) Ted's Take, Ted rambled on about his love affair with the amputee that wants to run track. How about talking about something relevant?

Then Ted feels bad because the amputee was disqualified for stepping in someone else's lane. These fake limbs could be endangering those around him, which Ted obviously didn't think over.

If there is not going to be any substance to Ted's take, then why put him on there.

My dearest Jive, I mean Kenny, oops I meant Perkoff, no wait tonguebath, wait, wait I meant morgageguy, no sorry flowers4fun, did you ever think about taking that remote and changing channels? If you personally hate Ted that bad, why do you keep whatching? With all those screen names and passwords, how do you find time to whatch TV? Unemployed? If you find a story about an amputee competing in a race revolting, you probably hate old ladys living on social security.

Ha, look at his profile. He enjoys blogging because it gives him a chance to voice for those who are less fortunate.

Wonder what he thinks the amputee is?? Fortunate or Less Fortunate. I guess he is less fortunate because there is a whole blog about him.

Geez, what a silly subject this is.

Ted's Take is exactly what it is, Ted's Take. If you don't like it, don't watch it. I can't imagine when they decided to air this segment with Ted, that they figured everyone was going to agree with everything he said.

Fact of the matter is, if his take stirs the pot a little or annoys you enough to post a blog about it on the MY FOX MILWAUKEE WEBSITE, then it did what it was supposed to do. It caught your attention enough to make you react. By posting your blog, you created more interest and more people will probably check it out. Good Job!!!!!!!

Maybe you should get a job at Fox 6 working in the PR department.

Just because it caught his attention doesn't make it good Don Imus caught my attention and he called some girls "nappy headed whores" that was editorilizing too and it got peoples attention and got them talking. Jive don't expect much out of FOX their job is to cover little unimportant local stories which we are supposed to care about. If I hade a pennie for everyone of FOX's little special interest stories while ignoring actual news I would be rich! rich! rich!

Maybe there is only one blogger on this site with multiple personalities arguing with himself. Hmmmmmm?

Demboy, personally I like Ted's Take. Also I never said just because it caught his attention it made it good. I basically said it does not have to be liked or disliked by all people. That being said, the more that people blog and complain about the more it draws interest, and people are more likely to check it out. If it draws so much attention, then it is doing what it is supposed to do.

I have 1 and only 1 screen name. "A Jive Soul Bro" because that's what I am.

I'm just getting a bit tired of Ted giving us a play by play about this amputee who wants to run track. This guy could have injured real runners that are good. I just think Ted's Take could be a bit better. What if he spoke about the war in Iraq - remember? Or the defense shield in Europe? Or AIDS in Africa? Much better topics than tv shows and an amputee.

He everyone I'm not Jive I think I would now if I was. Is it that only one person with many ccounts can disagree with you guys? You can't stand having more then one person disagree with you. Yeah I agree with Jive much more important things to worry about then what Ted covers.

Well Demboy, I know you can't be kennyk, aka tonguebath because you would have to get on your own case for your spelling! (I am not criticizing you but kennyk sure would have)!
Re: Ted's Take, he covers a little bit of everything. I enjoy it!

Why is it that every time someone disagrees with you all, we're wrong? That just shows your ignorance to the fact that while the local news is talking about a "friendship tree" which was on Perry's People a while back, Demboy and I want care more about foreign relations and trade with China. I guess we're just smarter than you all and want to be informed.

I don't know about anybody else, but whether you like Ted's Take or not, makes no difference to me. However, if it irritates you so much because you find it not newsworthy, but you still keep watching it, then it is drawing interest even if it is negative (hence being successful). You wouldn't be able to disagree with some of his segements if you were not watching it.

That is because I am being a critic. I watch the Oreilly factor to to evaluate it and I talk about it on blogs like this. I find it disturbing that people love watch sows like Teds Take but I feel I should know what I am talking about when I write about it.

Exactly Demboy, you watch it to be as you say a critic, but in doing so you add to the ratings.

I have to ask though, why you find it so disturbing that people like to watch things like Ted's Take, (which by the way is not a show but 1 minute segment on a 1 1/2 hour news broadcast)? There are so many wierd/sick things to see on T.V. that DISTURB me because I can't understand why people would even want to watch these shows, but Ted's Take doesn't even come close to being on the list.

I have to agree with demboy and a jive soul bro, I've noticed that if you don't agree, then you're wrong. Why is that? I happen to enjoy the differences of opinions here.

I am not disagreeing with their opinion, they don't have to like it. All I said was these things are based on ratings, whether the viewer likes what he/she is seeing or not. I have never stated that anyone was wrong.

Yes that is true that is one of the problems with these things which is why terrible people like Don Imus and Bill Oreilly can have their own show. People like watching other people be disrespectful of others.
Eastcoastgal, trust me if more people then Upnorth were posting trust me they would be condeming Jive and I. Check out all the other Ted's take threads. There were more people on those.

I am a secular athiest, residing in Milwaukee hoping to see more diversity within this city. I am frusterated with our country's domestic and foreign policies and ashamed to be an American. I enjoy blogging because it gives me a chance to voice for those who are poor and less fortunate than the supposed affluent in this city.
