During Doyle's re-election campaign I did find it rather odd that he made some promises not to raise taxes. But now as I expected, those promises are broken with his latest budget proposal.
Doyle's budget clearly heads down a secular progressive, left-leaning, partisan path. Raising the burden on America's drivers by increasing the license renewal fee and vehicle registration fee. Also, "sticking it to Big Oil" by raising the gas tax. "But not at the expense of the Wisconsin public". How is that enforceable? And who's really buying into it.
I could care less about the cigarette tax, because I hate cigarette smoke like Tim Hardaway hates gays. He wants to "wean" smokers away from the habit. Like smokers ever quit. But his anti-smoking portions of the budget with his explanation for doing so is him admitting that he would like to keep people off the roads in the comfort of their own vehicles and encourage public transportation. Which in my opinion sucks. Yeah, let's supply more money for buses which have had problems of violence.
Finally, his hospital tax, which is only going to be passed on to the consumer. And his explanation of "hospitals need to have more medicaid patients" is his desire to issue as much entitlement to everybody. What's the hospital supposed to do? Advertise a need for medicaid patients? All this proves is that Doyle is the typical secular progressive, liberal, that would rather not reward those who better the community, but would like to drag us down with the rest of unsuccessful society.

I am a secular athiest, residing in Milwaukee hoping to see more diversity within this city. I am frusterated with our country's domestic and foreign policies and ashamed to be an American. I enjoy blogging because it gives me a chance to voice for those who are poor and less fortunate than the supposed affluent in this city.
