Barack and Michelle's thesis were suppose to be under lock and key until after the election. I would like to know why these had to be kept so secretive.

flaglady had a post entitled "They say we should give obama a chance.." or something similar. now it's missing along with all of the rest of her posts, and i wonder if she is locked out now. you question their supreme one, and you are in trouble.

Frankly, I couldn't give a FRA over who paid for the education for either of them. That's years in the past. And you know that I'm no Obama supporter!

Now the house and the lot next door and the dealings with Tony Rezko......that indeed needs to be explored as it has to do with the guy's recent political past.

exerciser: I paid for every dime of my education. Worked during the day and took classes at nights and during the summers.

I was the stupid one. Most everyone else got all kinds of grants and even some got their gas paid for by the government.

I also put my daughter through school at the same time.

I was just one of those taught that you work for everything, you don't take any handouts.

I would not give that advice.

rtralles there is nothing wrong with people asking questions. Are you one of those who wants people to give Obama a chance? With the attitude you just displayed will not help the situation. Why could you just said:

They took out student loans. They were still paying for them until his book starting selling when he made the key note speech in 2004. They worked and paid them themselves.

I did pretty darn good in Uncle Sams flying club to be honest. It took a while, the lower ranks are way under payed. But as with most jobs, the longer you are there the better the pay. The education benefits are amazing. One of the best reasons to join and stay in for 20 or 30 years. I have little to complain about with my health insurance. I pay a little more for tri care plus and can go to a wide variety of doctors and hospitals.
Hell, I would have done the job for nothing! It was a fantastic ride to say the least.
AMOM. A hero? No, not me. I was just a guy doing what I loved. I got to see a lot of guys I would call heros though. The ground pounders are #1 in my book. Our job was to support them, to protect them from the air. Those are the true soldiers.

I myself don't know why some are still worried about who paid for what and with what. Is it gonna change anything? You wonder who paid for their million dollar home.....have you wondered who paid for McCain's 7 homes? Why do you not question that?
I just don't understand. Who cares?? The election's over and done with!
