Did I hear right this morning? Someone knocked on the door at about midnight and when the girl opened the door, they forced their way in? Why would anyone open the door to a total stranger, esp. at that time?? My next door neighbors are a bunch of college girls and they leave their door unlocked all the time. The sliding glass door stays partially open all the time so the cats can come and go as they please. Whats up with these college kids? How can they do these stupid things??

I too, am stupid sometimes and leave the doors unlocked. I wouldn't want anyone mistaking it for being unprepared though. LOL

have to wonder about this story...in Orlando as deadly as it is..three guys WITH GUNS...which the girls OPENED the door to???Why??? don't they know how to use a peek hole or ask who was there??? Just doesn't make much sense...anyway...three guys with guns get into the apartment..all four RUN INTO A CLOSET and none of the thugs go after them???? SOMETHING ABSOLUTELY NOT RIGHT WITH THIS PICTURE...and then the news also mentioned that there other tenants trying to get out of lease...could this been a set-up for the purpose of getting out of the lease??? I am sorrybut this story needs to be further investigated..I mean the assailants didn't even chase the girls? didn't try to molest? IT'S ALL TOO SIMPLE..and the fact that the four just happened to lock themselves in a closet with a laptop and NONE OF THE ROBBERS WENT AFTER THEM...it is just too good to be true...I am not buying this story....and you gotta wonder UCF Students they should know by now with all the crimes and the disappearance of Jennifer...NOT BUYING THIS STORY...

hey metalhead...we are practically neighbors...LOL>>>> so what do you think...I don't buy this story one bit for some reason this is just to simple for me....no one got chased; grabbed....not buying it...

Hey MetalHead. A lot of people seem to believe that can never happen to me. If you are aware of your surroundings and take precautions you may be safe. If you don't odds are good that you will become just another nameless number added to another largely ignorred statistic.Young and dumb?

There was a time in my youth that we left our doors open in the country, we even opened our windows to listen to the sound of the frogs in the springtime. Here in Florida this day and time you'd have to be crazy. Criminals are BREAKING down doors to invade people...I hope they don't think they will get an OPEN invitation from me. As far as opening my windows to listen to the sound of frogs in the springtime here in Florida, I ain't that crazy yet I'd wake up with a 8 foot aligator in my bed...NOW what kind of SOUND do they make again?
