Veteran's Day

  I'm getting ready to go fishing. I'm off today, not because it's Veteran's Day and I'm a veteran, but because it's Sunday and I don't have to work.

    Please join me today in remembering our country's veterans and of course, those currently in the Armed Forces( the fishing I can handle by myself ).

                                             Happy Veteran's Day everyone !

when i use to go fishing when i was little i would celebrate if i caught an old boot or a minow

i remember when i was 13 waiting for trout season to open at a pond with about 50 other people ,by the time 8am rolled around and there were about 300 fishermen at the site, i just went home , it just wasn't fishing.

I have the utmost respect for the men and woman who have (or are) worked (Or are working) to keep our great nation Free..

Brain...Yeah, Opening day of trout season is like that down here in DE. also. Elbow to elbow, all along the stream....Not fun fishing!

It wasn't very crowded today. It wasn't very warm, either. I suspect those two factors are somehow related.
